Hi all, Keeping busy here with all sorts going on at the moment. I have a few new "old cookbooks" to share with you all soon. We have been busy in the garden growing veggies and all sorts. And I have been busy with sewing and card making too . And we have another little visitor, Spot, that Brian and I are looking after. :)
We have been enjoying salads here from our own home grown lettuces. And I have been cooking some of my old favourites.... Roast beef with all the trimmings along with Fiona's Yorkshire puddings . And Wendy's Tom Yum soup . And Joe has tempted me to make his
Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies . I have the Rolos ready and waiting. Some of these are promised to one of the guys at our local Pizza Express that we frequent. They are so sweet in there and they love my biscuits(cookies). :) I really like the new Gustosa pizza and their ice cream is to die for the flavours are so vibrant. Also Brian and I have been visiting our friends Steve and Sarah at the Oddfellows Arms . We walk in and have lunch and a nice bottle of wine and walk back along the bunny trail to catch the bus home. So I haven't forgotten you all, I do hope to be back soon writing about the lovely dishes I make using my home grown veggies. :)
